The Craft of Agave

The agave that is the foundation of Tequila Comisario is produced and nurtured in the Mexican highlands of Jalisco. Filled with flavor and sweetness, these agave plants are harvested at the very peak of perfection thereby providing each bottle of Comisario tequila a unique flavor.

Tequila Comisario comes in four distinctive flavors that all highlight the brand’s devotion to quality and craftsmanship.

  • Blanco: A clear tequila with aromas of spun honey, waxy pear, roasted pepper, and delicate herbs. It offers flavors of dried apple, mineral, yellow pepper, and acacia honey, finishing with a gentle spicy fade.
     
  • Reposado: Aged for 7 months in American Oak Barrels, this tequila boasts a pale golden amber color with aromas of pineapple crème brulée, dried tropical fruit, and nougat. It has a medium to full body with anise cookie, herb, and grilled pepper accents, finishing with a long spicy sweet buckwheat honey fade.
     
  • Anejo: Aged for 23 months in American Oak Whiskey and Cabernet Barrels, this tequila features aromas of buttercream, dried papaya, caramel custard, and nougat. It offers a dry-yet-fruity, medium to full body with grilled pepper, mineral, and mocha accents, finishing with a long, cocoa and pepper spice fade with a balanced warmth.
     
  • Extra Anejo: Aged for 7 years in American Oak Whiskey and Cabernet Barrels, this tequila has similar aromas to the Anejo expression. It offers a supple, silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity, medium to full body with grilled pepper, mineral, and mocha accents, finishing with a long, cocoa and pepper spice fade with a balanced warmth.
